Resolutions

I was going to write my resolutions but it's hard to remember them, because I'm listening to ABBA Gold. I love ABBA Gold. I also really love the public library. That place is amazing. It's a crazy building full of treasures, like brand-new novels that I've been wanting to read, books that pop out at me, speaking to things like walking in San Francisco to discover the parts that I don't know, and quilting, and cooking, things I've been meaning to use to direct all of this time I've had on my hands lately. It's full of dark corners where people sit concentrated on their own things, talking to themselves or planning a new life or just take advantage of a public bathroom. It reminds me of the Uptown in that way. I was in there last night, and I had to admit that I also love the Uptown (again). Pure Gold!

If you're talking about the main, it's a pretty solid place. You should ask one of the librarians about their free walking tours. They can be kind of fun.

Hug a homeless person for me the next time you're down there.
